Our family is abounding in appreciation for Saturday's event. Jaden has a wonderful and unforgettable day! We will never forget the amount of Love and genuine concern that was expressed toward Jaden!
As scripture says: Isa 40:31
"but they who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." As I said in my speech last night... "The Eagles have raised Jaden up on their wings"... and we praise God for their dedication!
Truly; every person involved in this even has blessed Jaden, and our family beyond words.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and God bless you for you gift of Love!
Greg, Heather, Dylan, Alaina, Jaden, Grammy DD, Aunt Donna, Nana, Aunt Janey, Little Josh, Shawn, Big Josh, Jordan, and all extended family who were unable to attend... thank you again!!!

God's cake

Sometimes we wonder, 'What did I do to deserve this?' or 'Why did God have to do this to me?' Here is a wonderful explanation!

A daughter is telling her Mother how everything is going wrong, she's failing algebra, her boyfriend broke up with her and her best friend is moving away.
Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and asks her daughter if she would like a snack, and the daughter says, 'Absolutely Mom, I love your cake.'
'Here, have some cooking oil,' her Mother offers.
'Yuck' says her daughter.'How about a couple raw eggs?' 'Gross, Mom!''Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?'
'Mom, those are all yucky!'
To which the mother replies: 'Yes, all those things seem bad all by themselves. But when they are put together in the right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake! '
God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He would let us go through such bad and difficult times. But God knows that when He puts these things all in His order, they always work for good! We just have to trust Him and, eventually, they will all make something wonderful! God is crazy about you. He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning.Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen. He can live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart.

Poker-run

Please, support Jaden on Saturday, July 26th for the 6th Annual Lexi Sabatino Poker Run?!?
We will all meet out at the Hopkinsville Fairgrounds around 8-9am. From there a parade of over 400 motorcycles will venture into and around Hopkinsville. It will be a glorious site, and Jaden is so excited about all those Harley's!! LOL!
There will be a dinner, dance, and music at 6pm back at the Fair Grounds! Jaden gets to pull the winner of the Harley raffle too! Way toooooooo cool!!
We hope and pray that this day will be refreshing to Jaden's spirit... and a wonderful 11th Birthday as well! Praise God for another year with Jaden...

July 16th update

Jaden is septic, and he has had fever for near 4 days now. He feels a little better after having a blood transfusion for anemia, and he is done with this round of Chemo. Our worry is that his culture's are coming back positive, and that his fevers and other problems persist. We ask that you pray for Jaden... he is weak, and seems so frail right now. This is a scary time for all of us.

Greg has reached Afghanistan, his welcome to the base was sad. One of the first things he had to do, was attend a service for 10 fallen comrades. My heart goes out to their families! Please, continue to pray for all those who serve our wonderful USA... Freedom isn't free!

Dylan and Alaina are doing fine, adjusting to life without Daddy has become a routine we would rather live without. However; in time we will no longer have to endure the long separations. We will praise the Lord either way, and thank him all the same for each day!

God bless you!

Make a wish

JADEN HAD THE GREATEST TIME!!!!! We started out the evening so excited... when he got in the limo he could hardly speak. Shock! Jaden said, "I bet Hanna Montana rides in one of these every day!" LOL!
Then when we got to Wal-mart ... all the staff were so helpful and kind! They helped to make his evening so wonderful! As a surprise; the Manager gave Jaden a 26 inch flat screen HD TV!! What a way to end a night!
It was like Christmas in June!! The "make a wish" was like a dream come true for Jaden... but his smile warmed our souls! We have not seen Jaden smile like that since January... Thanks to everyone who took part in this!
God bless you... from the Willhite's!!!!
love in Christ
