Gatlinberg trip with Jaden & family... WHAT A BLAST!

I am so, so, so very happy that we went to the Smokies with Jaden. When we got back & went to Vanderbilt for a check up... we found out that Jaden's Philadelphia Chromosome levels are as high as they were in June of 2008. =O This is not good, as they think he is now resistant to the "gleevec". He needs this to survive... so we are now looking for another drug. They took his blood, and are testing it for resistance. Meanwhile, we are on the search for stem cell and/or bone marrow transplant donor. Please pray for Jaden!!!

Jaden is hanging in there, but has had some swelling of the brain. Please continue to pray for him!! Also... praise God for your many blessings!!!

Visit with good friends!

Our dear friend's Jim & Dianne Wagner came to visit us here in fall-tucky! It was a wonderful visit from two of our mentors. We were stationed in Germany together, and attended the best church "EVER" there... Calvary Baptist Church. We all miss our family there so, so very much!!

After they left things got a bit chaotic. Jaden came down with high fevers, and my Mom had a blood clot that caused a heart attack. Greg went with Jaden to Vandy, and I stayed behind with Mom. She was here in Jennie Stuart. It was a wild week, but Praise God... we all got through it! Thank God everyone is home, and recovering now!

Please pray for our next venture for Jaden. On the 22nd, we go into Vanderbilt to talk with the Radiology. Jaden is supposed to get a bone marrow biopsy that day, and a spinal tap & chemo in his spine as well. We are praying that he has hit the 3rd stage of remission!! If so, we continue on with radiation for the next 2 weeks, then monthly chemo in clinic for the next 3-4 years. It is a long road... but we are praying for the best! (This is month 19 for our chemo reg.)

Jaden's 12th Birthday

Jaden's 12th birthday was wonderful, and we all praise God for another year with Jaden!! As usual; we shared the day with Alaina on her 10th birthday. Both Jaden & Alaina received a lot of their favorite gifts, and it was a real blessing to share the time with Grammy DD & Lee. Daddy was here to share in this years birthday celebration, and we hope that he won't be deploying again soon!
