Still waiting on test results... here is what we have been busy doing while we wait.

John & Mike from Copper Road came over and got the poster we had made for them. (From the Diabetes Benefit Concert) Then John took Jaden to ride in the Turkey Trot here in Hoptown... he got to play with the lights and everything. Jaden loved that!!! Thank you John, you’re the bestest ever!!! =p

Thanksgiving was wonderful; we had Kim, Neil, Mom, & Lee over. The food ROCKED!!!! We played games, then Tiff, Janey, & the kids came down for a visit over the weekend. That was wonderful to have friends & family here... and it is such a blessing to see them again. Love all you guys, thank you for making our holiday special!!!

Mom & I got to go to a "FREE" Trace Atkins concert at the Ryman.
(Original Grand Old Opry) That was wicked cool!!!! We ate at the Opry Mills Mall Aquarium restaurant first... but please don't go there on a weekend, during Christmas EVER!!!! Wow, I wish I would have known it takes an hour to park alone!!! =O Anywho, the food was great, our waiter was the best... it was worth the trouble.
Praise God... it was a wonderful “ladies day out”!

Gotta love it!
Merry Christmas!!!

We are so excited!!! Gaylord Opryland Resort & Grand Old Opry night! Wow... Free Trace Adkins tickets!

(PIC ABOVE IS FROM 2005 "101ST SOLDIERS" NIGHT OUT BEFORE DEPLOYMENT TO BAGHDAD)
WE are so excited… Mom & Lee bought us a VIP night at Gaylord Opryland Resort & tickets for the Grand Old Opry to see Ronnie Millsap & Marylou Harris. After making the reservations… the ticket lady called me back. Her daughter volunteers at Vanderbilt where we often “live” with Jaden. She said she had a surprise for me… and that she had gotten us tickets to the Trace Adkins concert that is SOLD OUT. (Imagine my surprise!!) I thought she meant that we could “switch” the nights for the reservation, since I had wanted to see Trace first. However, she then told me that we were getting 2 FREE tickets to see him… I about died!! Wow!!!! Thank you so much to this dear sweet lady, and her boss at Gaylord Opryland for their kindness!!!! You can’t imagine how much this means to us… it has been a long 20 months with Jaden’s illness. (Best case scenario) We have no less than 4 years of consistent stays in Vanderbilt for chemo, transplants, and radiation to go. So, a nice treat like this is a wonderful blessing!!! Thank you, thank you, and thank you!!! I will be sure to take lots of pics at the Opry! =p
GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL GIFT TO OUR FAMILY… IT WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN! THANK YOU!!! =)
God bless

Pray for Jaden please!!!

We are looking for a new drug for Jaden, to fight the Philadelphia Chromosome. If we can't find one, or even is we do... we still need a match for a stem cell and/or bone marrow transplant. Please keep Jaden in your prayers!!
God bless

SLIDE OF OUR TRIP TO THE SMOKIE'S! OCTOBER 23rd-26th, 2009

Gatlinberg trip with Jaden & family... WHAT A BLAST!

I am so, so, so very happy that we went to the Smokies with Jaden. When we got back & went to Vanderbilt for a check up... we found out that Jaden's Philadelphia Chromosome levels are as high as they were in June of 2008. =O This is not good, as they think he is now resistant to the "gleevec". He needs this to survive... so we are now looking for another drug. They took his blood, and are testing it for resistance. Meanwhile, we are on the search for stem cell and/or bone marrow transplant donor. Please pray for Jaden!!!
God bless & Praise God for this wonderful trip with my BFF for life!!!
Love ya Janey!!!
