June 29th update

We are all here at home again... Jaden couldn't be admitted on Wed. His blood work was way off, and he needs to be at a high count to start his new chemo. We dropped a bag on him, for hydration... and did his blood work and meds.

Even thought is seems like we are back at the hospital every 2 days, Jaden is still dreading the long stay of this next visit. He seems to get into a state of depression every time he knows he is going to stay overnight, and sleeps the first 24 to 38 hours of in-hospital treatment. I believe this is a self-defence mechanism that he has sunken into.

We are hoping that tomorrow's shopping spree at Wal-mart will cheer him up!! He will be picked up in a limousine, and given some dinner cards as well. (for the future) Jaden looks forward to getting some things for the Ronald McDonald house as well.

They are giving him $1800 to spend. We believe this is a large sum of money, and will provide many items to keep Jaden's mind active over the next year of treatment!! Praise God for the wonderful people at Make a Wish... they are great!
Thanks Jennifer and April!!!!

We are also looking forward to the charity at the fair grounds at the end of July. We thank God for Jennifer Hansley... she is such a devoted servant unto the Lord!! Thanks Jen!!! Also, Thanks Ronnie, and Road kill... you guys are a real joy to fellowship with! WE really appreciate all the hard work you all have done to help our family not go under financially... God bless you!!! :-)

Please; as always, keep praying for Jaden in his affliction. Keep your eyes on the Lord, and your heart on his task at hand. Thanks for the prayers for Greg and his deployment, and trust that God knows best for him in this mission... I know we do!

Update June 22, 2008

Jaden has been back to the hospital for a blood transfusion, spinal tap, chemo, and blood work since we have been home. He looks as if he may need blood again now? We are due to be back (At Vanderbilt) next Tuesday, and waiting for a room at the Ronald McDonald house once again.

Greg will be leaving us soon, and going "over there". We trust that this deployment to Afghanistan will be better than Baghdad. Please continue to pray for all the Men and ladies who are deployed... and those beloved family members that are left behind. Thank you! :)

Jaden also got to do his "Pre-shopping" shopping spree. This was difficult on him, as he didn't feel well, and was extremely tired just 20 min into the pre-spree. Please pray that all things go well for this event... as it will make it easier for Jaden to be quarantined to the house for the next year. Thanks for all the support in this matter!

Jaden now has a wish-list at Walmart, and it can be accessed online at http://www.walmart.com/. Just go in and hit the "wish list" located at the top right hand side of the page, then put in Jaden's first and last name, and the date June, 2008. You should be able to access his list... and he went hog wild crazy with the "wishing" part of that. LOL! Anyway, we will scan what he does recieve on his wish list, and that will remove it. What is left on the list will remain as his future wish list. Blaaaaaa, that sounds long winded! lol!

Please pray for Jaden this time round at Vanderbilt, we will be getting him a button to directly give him his oral chemo. Surgery for that should go well, and we trust that it will be in his benefit. This round of Chemo will be difficult, but nessasary to help him to get into remission!

Also, great news!! Jaden's pool is in, and all the final details are being worked out as I write. Jaden already has his swim suit on, and is waiting paitiently by the pool's edge to swim. How sweet it is!! (Thanks Mike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
God bless you!

Praise God... So far, so good!! We had a Echo done here yesterday, and all is well. (Heart)

So far... Jennifer Hansley has reported that all the charity events are going as planned. That is beyond a blessing, since we were looking at possible bankruptcy. Praise the Lord we are going to be blessed with some financial help!!!
