Visit to University of Iowa - Benefit excitement!
Glenn Groebli (Chairman of the Eagles Diabetes Benefit Concert) visited the University of Iowa this past weekend, while attending the Fraternal Order of Eagles Incoming Regional Presidents Meeting.
Mr. Groebli shared some details of his visit, being very inspirational and touching. He was able to meet with several leading University staff members, and discuss our future Benefit. He was pleased to report that many are excited about our event, and some would like to attend. (Schedule permitting)
We are very gracious to the University of Iowa for their warm and friendly hospitality, and for the outstanding support on the fundraiser. We hope to welcome the President of UI, Sally Mason at our upcoming event. In addition; it would be a great joy to have visitors affiliated with The University of Iowa attend our future Benefit.

We had a wonderful meeting today in Nashville with Tom Roady, Zach Spencer, and Eden's Crash guys Dustin Deyoe & Marcus Dunmire. These guys are wonderful, and what talent!!
My Mom (In above photo with Tom Roady) and I are involved with the concert planning committee. Our Committee Meeting tonight; at the Eagles, was very productive. Hopefully, we may have picked up some extra bands for the benefit. All of this is very exciting, and is coming together wonderfully!!
We are still in need of many donations, and participants for fundraiser. If there is anyone who would like to help with the Diabetes Research Benefit Concert, please Contact me at:
Willhiteh@yahoo.com
Although we have come very far in our current plan for the Benefit Concert, we still have much to do. We need everyone to pull together, and Change lives!!! This is a monumental step towards finding the cure for the epidemic that touches so many lives. We deeply appreciate any help given in order to accomplish our fundraiser.
Here are some of the things we still need:
-Artist to perform (We are short on female singers, or bands.)
-Comedy acts
-Food donations
-Items to raffle (Of musical nature if possible)
-Volunteers to work at the concert
