NEW DATE: JADEN'S TRANSPLANT

AFTER GETTING A COLD VIRUS, AND THE "CRUD" GOING THROUGH THE HOUSEHOLD... JADEN IS BACK ON TRACK FOR HIS SURGERY, CHEMO, RADIATION, AND TRANSPLANT. HE GOES INTO VANDY ON MONDAY THE 5TH OF MARCH TO START THE RADIATION & CHEMO. THE TRANSPLANT IS SCHEDULED FOR THE MORNING OF THE 13TH, AND SO FAR SO GOOD! PLEASE KEEP PRAYING FOR JADEN... JP'S TESTING IS GOING WELL!

Jaden is doing wonderful with his testing!! His PFT went great, and his measurements for full body radiation went well too. He had tons of labs done again, and those also were taken without issues. However, it just breaks my heart to see his small little body in front of that HUGE radiation machine. =( This machine intimidates me to death... I AM SO PROUD OF OUR BRAVE, BRAVE, BRAVE LITTLE MAN!!!! Please keep praying for him & God bless!~ Heath & kids xoxoxo

UPDATE ON TRANSPLANT, FEB. 28TH!

OK, they changed Jaden's transplant date to Feb. 28th... he has tons of Doc appt till then (Jaden MUST stay healthy & quarantined until the transplant), and he goes in on the 20th to get his line put back in & start radiation & chemo. He will get high doses of both + a horse hormone to kill off his own immune system and bone marrow.... then he will get the transplant on the 28th. He will then start more chemo & radiation.... and also a host of anti-rejection drugs. Please keep praying for our little trooper, and God bless each of you for your kindness, love, and support!!! ~ heath & kids

Bone Marrow Transplant UPDATE January, 2012

Lots to go over, and they will prob use cord stem cells for the transplant. =( No news yet on the exact date, but sooner is better! They can do the cord transplant now, but they desire Bone Marrow don instead. Till then, its the waiting game...

Jaden is being scheduled for his psychology work up & baseline before radiation. They said that the after effects of the radiation can regress him back in his autism... =o I am freaking out a little here, because I worked for years to get him where he is now... by the grace of God alone! Jaden's quality of life is as important as his quantity of life to us! PLEASE PRAY FOR JADEN, HIS BASE LINE DIAGNOSIS, AND HIS RADIATION TREATMENT FOR HIS BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT!!??~

THANK YOU to BETHANY BAPTIST CHURCH in Sturgis, KY for praying over Jaden & our family last night, and for a wonderful pot-luck meal... God bless ya'll!! ***PLEASE, pray for Jaden.... he is starting to worry about the radiation & the effects on him mentally. Also, he is just afraid... and for the first time; 4 years this coming March, I am seeing his fear. =( BREAKS MY HEART, AND IF I COULD TAKE THIS TRIAL & DO THIS TRANSPLANT FOR HIM... I WOULD IN A HEARTBEAT!!!

I am praying for God's grace to get through all the trials that the kids & we may face over the next 6 months, that God will touch the hearts of those around us, and I PRAISE GOD for every wonderful person who has blessed the kids & I over the Holiday's and beyond!

"Dear Heavenly Father, please be with Jaden now??!! Strengthen him in mind, body, & spirit in order to endure the long months ahead with his bone marrow transplant!! Lord, we are at your mercy... we pray that your will be done, and that your loving arms will be around Jaden every moment along the way!! In the name of Jesus I pray~ Amen"
