We are all here at home again... Jaden couldn't be admitted on Wed. His blood work was way off, and he needs to be at a high count to start his new chemo. We dropped a bag on him, for hydration... and did his blood work and meds.
Even thought is seems like we are back at the hospital every 2 days, Jaden is still dreading the long stay of this next visit. He seems to get into a state of depression every time he knows he is going to stay overnight, and sleeps the first 24 to 38 hours of in-hospital treatment. I believe this is a self-defence mechanism that he has sunken into.
We are hoping that tomorrow's shopping spree at Wal-mart will cheer him up!! He will be picked up in a limousine, and given some dinner cards as well. (for the future) Jaden looks forward to getting some things for the Ronald McDonald house as well.
They are giving him $1800 to spend. We believe this is a large sum of money, and will provide many items to keep Jaden's mind active over the next year of treatment!! Praise God for the wonderful people at Make a Wish... they are great!
Thanks Jennifer and April!!!!
We are also looking forward to the charity at the fair grounds at the end of July. We thank God for Jennifer Hansley... she is such a devoted servant unto the Lord!! Thanks Jen!!! Also, Thanks Ronnie, and Road kill... you guys are a real joy to fellowship with! WE really appreciate all the hard work you all have done to help our family not go under financially... God bless you!!! :-)
Please; as always, keep praying for Jaden in his affliction. Keep your eyes on the Lord, and your heart on his task at hand. Thanks for the prayers for Greg and his deployment, and trust that God knows best for him in this mission... I know we do!
Love in Christ
Heath
