HIGH RISK ALL LEUKEMIA & TYPE 1 DIABETES: KENTUCKY, United States; Jaden is a sweet, intelligent, active 15 year old boy. Jaden was diagnosed with Autism at age 2 in Germany. He has overcome so many obstacles and is “today” so well adjusted that most people don’t even realize he has autism. =) Just as we were getting to a place of “normalcy”… Jaden was diagnosed with HIGH RISK ALL Leukemia & diabetes on March 13, 2008. Two weeks later, they told us Jaden also had a Philadelphia Chromosome. This is a flipped Chromosome that changed his diagnosis from the “better” form of Leukemia... to a “terminal” form. I trusted the Lord to get us through this trial, and It has been a long & hard road of fulltime chemo/TBI (radiation) for 4+ years! Jaden has had a cord-blood TRANSPLANT at Vanderbilt, and we PRAISE GOD for his allowing Jaden to pull through with flying colors!! JADEN REACHED REMISSION ON MAY 16, 2012 for the first time in over 4 years!!! PLEASE continue to praise God for this special child He has given us… he is truly a blessing from the Lord! Please keep Jaden in your prayers. Thank you~
