Radio, Newspapers, and getting the word out about the Diabetes Benefit concert on June 20th

RADIO BROADCAST:
I have faith that we will be blessed. We had a radio interview Monday morning that was at first "disastrous"! WAVJ-FM’s Monday Morning Show interview on June 8 from 8:30 – 9 a.m with Darren Jordan ... only we arrived at the sister station instead of the right one some 40 minutes away. Wow... was I worried!! However; in the end it was all for the better. :)

Zach Spencer (Benefit performer), My Mom (Committee member), Jaden, and myself were "way" early... we organized a phone interview with the correct 104.9 station. Then as a surprise to us; the radio station that we ended up at on accident did a taped interview right after our initial broadcast.

Lite rock 104.9fm in Princeton will be airing our interview soon, and we can't wait to hear how that turns out. :) Wow! On top of that, they will post our poster on their web site too. So, in the end... we had a wonderful day. Two interviews in one morning... before 11am. Jaden said it all at the end of his broadcast,"Lite Rock 104.9 ROCKS!!! lol! He really had a great time at the interview with Caroline Garcia. Thanks ladies at the station in Princeton, you went out of your way to help us out in a tough spot!!

Anywho, on our way back home we stopped and took Zach Spencer to the Viceroy. He was very excited with the venue, and said it was a wonderful stage. :) We look forward to your performance Zach!!

We also had an interview with Dave Ralston, Hopkinsville Eagles member and host on WHOP-AM 98.7fm (http://www.lite987whop.com/) Tuesday, June 2 at 6:45am. Dave was wonderful, and he also had done alot of radio PR for us during the Eagles Rider Poker Run for Jaden Last year. We appreciate all you do for us Dave!!

Jaden has been featured in three News Papers so far. The Kentucky New Era, The Eagle Post, and The Fort Campbell Courier. All three Articles were fabulous, and we are grateful for all the kind words... and details about the diabetes benefit concert.
